The primary components to healthy weight loss are eating nutritious food and performing physical exercises. Chapter one of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2015-2020, “Key Elements of Healthy Eating Patterns,” depicts that individuals should stick to healthy eating behaviors throughout their lives. That way, it will be possible to manage weight. Specifically, a healthy lifestyle involves eating vegetables, whole grains, fruits, low-fat or fat-free dairy products, and proteins from eggs, legumes, seeds, nuts, lean meats, and seafood. People should focus on various nutritious food and avoid added sugar, sodium intake, and saturated fats (Chapter 1). As such, the key thing to a healthy weight loss is shifting to better food choices. Besides, individuals should come up with schedules of physical activities to burn excessive calories that lead to obesity.
