How would you describe the differences between a work task group and a collaborative health care team?
Work task groups refer to individuals who engage in a specific action that yields their desired objective. The main objective of a task group is to meet the organizational and community needs. On the other hand, collaboration health care team is when healthcare professionals assume complementary roles and cooperate (Reeves, Xyrichis & Zwatenstein, 2018). The professionals work as a team by sharing responsibilities for decision making, designing care plans for the patients, and problem solving within the amenity. In the healthcare system, collaboration helps eliminate clinical errors, improve the quality of patient services, and reduce healthcare costs.
