Introduction
Health care systems deal with a myriad of situations making them some of the most complex systems in the various professions in any economy. The medical teams have to interact with patients from the different sets of communities and their differences must not at any one time interfere with the ability to deliver quality care. There are other issues that are associated with health care delivery such as policies, technology, culture, economics and education all of which are constantly changing. Health care professionals have to make sure that they are able to move along with the changes and most importantly, find balance in their lives and professionally. This short paper highlights some of the aspects associated with health care delivery for the seniors and integration of technology in the health care systems, specifically with reference to safeguarding sensitive patient data (Prater, 2014).

The selection of the topics is largely informed by the fact that, these are some of the key areas that have drawn some sharp criticism in the past and they are also some of the most dynamic. It is also crucial to note that these two areas account for quite a significant number of dilemmas that most of the health care professionals face. In an economy that is constantly changing to reflect the global trends associated with globalization, population dynamics, health care professionals are no longer working with a local community but a global one. Caring for patients in the seniors’ years has become a norm. The medical professionals are forced to adapt with the changing social and cultural setup in their place of work.
