Congestive heart failure is a chronic disease with an increasing prevalence among the elderly people in this age. This illness is known for its cause for hospital admission with high treatment costs. Counseling and education are a critical component in addressing this disease. This encompasses medication management, dietary improvements, activity recommendations, self-monitoring, coping skills, social support, spiritual needs, prognosis, and caregiver stress.
The Type of Anemia and its Rationale
In this case, Mrs. A is mentioned to have been experiencing menorrhagia for at least ten to twelve years. Menorrhagia as defined in the medical field is the extreme loss of blood at some stage in menstruation and usually occurs when there are instances of hormonal in imbalance, especially in estrogen and progesterone (Bejjani, 2015). Other causes also include fibroid tumors of the uterus, miscarriage, pelvic inflammatory disease among others.
This disease is prevalent among women who experience disorders in bleeding. When there is a high prevalence of menorrhagia on a patient as a result of poor management of menstrual loss, a woman may be prone to contract chronic iron anemia deficiency disease (Bejjani, 2015). Blood loss is ascribed as the major reason of this kind of anemia in adults.
In this account, it is alleged that Ms. A uses aspirin every three to four hours when she experiences menstruation that lasts a period of six days, and when playing gold to avoid pains on his joints. It is important to realize that aspirin and other anti-inflammatory medicines can develop significant gastrointestinal bleeding even if taken in small doses (Rae, Furlong, Horsman, Pullenayegum, Demers, St-Louis, & Barr, 2013). Ms. A is a golf player, and on this day she was playing gold on a mountainous course.
