Project Integration with Coursework
As part of this capstone project, there have been numerous issues that overlap significantly with the coursework studied. From the coursework, it was abundantly clear that research is a significant part of healthcare and one that continues to inform the progression of healthcare. This aspect of the course material has been manifested in the capstone project seeing as research formed the foundation of the project itself. The research techniques learned from the coursework proved to be highly valuable when it came to conducting research for the project (Utley, 2011). It allowed for a purposeful yet objective analysis of literature and relevant topics in order to come up with the core research topic and material. This has been one of the most insightful aspects of the coursework and it has significantly influenced the development of this capstone project.
At the same time, critical thinking and literary analysis have also been instrumental to the success of this capstone project this far. The ability to analyse information from scholarly articles and determine whether said article is suitable for this project has been a core trait of conducting this project (Glasgow, 2012). Much of this ability has been influenced by the program course work and the consistent emphasis on objective literary analysis as a core part of understanding research studies. This has played a central role in shaping not only how I approach literary studies, but also how I analyze studies with my capstone project in mind. The combination of these aspects of my coursework into my capstone project research has enabled me to successfully navigate challenging issues such as identifying a topic and conducting the appropriate research to support the goals and objectives of the project (Delaney & Molloy, 2009). In every way possible, all aspects of my program coursework have been integrated into my capstone project and have been instrumental to its success this far.
