Morality and character define how one perceives a particular collection of ideas, and this affects the view of policies. As a result, religious beliefs have been incorporated in public law-making, and also in generating government programs. The impact of these divisions can be seen in the health sector. There have been disagreements on several health policies, including that of Obama care and abortion in which some are supportive, and others oppose. The differing moral and religious beliefs make it difficult to enact health laws that are acceptable to every citizen. For instance, the requirement that insurance should cover contraceptives has resulted in debates with people that affiliate to distinct religions having different views.
