This paper seeks to develop an outline that establishes assessments into how school nurses can initiate in assessing and addressing traumatic injuries.
1 Head Injuries:
Several head injuries are considered as minor and in this case may not require specialized attention. However, such injuries may result in persistent chronic symptoms such as difficulty in concentrating and headaches, an aspect that necessitates the need for first aid services (McCabe, et.al.2014). Efficient first aid approaches would include:
* Establish the cause of the injuries
* Call for emergency help.
* Sitting an injured individual down and providing something cold to hold them against their injuries through the use of ice or frozen peas that are wrapped in a cloth.
* Ensure that no medication is given.
* Checking the injured individual’s level of responsiveness through the use of an AVPU scale that notices their changes and reaction levels to responses.

It is essential to note that a rapid-re-implanted tooth remains important in preserving periodontal ligament in a patient(McCabe, et.al.2014).
