The Yakima Risk Management Plan (YRMP) is s model that serves the patient through the development of the best patient safety and risk management program to meet the need of such patients at the community level. The plan has an approval of the Yakima Healthcare center organization board of directors and disseminated staff. The project will provide tools and resources via its website besides giving the necessary education programs that will help in assisting the community. Therefore, the primary activities that the plan will delve into include protection of patients, visitors, staff members or any other person within the community from inadvertent problems. Besides, the project through its program will protect the various assets of Yakima healthcare such as its integrity, reputation, and financial assets among others. Therefore, the plan purposes to protect the patients within the area from injuries. The plan will focus on providing systematic approaches that help in the reduction of exposures to diseases. Therefore, the YRMP will identify, investigate, analyze technology, analyzing, evaluating risks and the identifying as well as systemic procedures that reduce the risk exposure.
Recommended Administrative Steps and Process in Health Organization Risk management program
The necessary administrative steps and process of risk management program in hospitals include the establishment of the context for risk identification and management. For example, the ICU, the Operation room, the emergency room, blood transfusion services, the coronary care unit among others. Consequently, the medication management in such contexts is usually high priority places for risk management about patient care (American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, 2011).
