The use of radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology or information storing devices started several decades ago and has been used in various aspects of life. For example, Delta Airline uses RFID luggage tags to know the owner’s destination, credit cards use it, and the National Animal Identification System uses this technology to register livestock (Weiss, 2018).
