Future Reproduction and Stem Cell
A “designer baby” is a newborn whose genetic makeup has been pre-selected during the development stage of the fetus using genetic engineering. Children are more enhanced and, and it minimizes the threat of medical challenges that are inherited, such as anemia (Suter, 2018). When the genetic makeup is deliberately replicated, there are numerous risks involved since there is no surety that the clone will be healthy.
