It has to go through different military wars, internal and external conflicts and leaves behind memorable lessons and acts of heroism. In the article titled The Declaration of Independence, there are details regarding the declaration that was signed by representatives from Massachusetts Bay, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Georgia, New York City and Maryland. All of these states had stepped toward forming a separate country. They regarded themselves as independent sovereign states and refused to operate under the British rules. They gave a tough competition to the Kingdom of Great Britain and remained at war for quite a long time. Amazingly, none of these states were ready to accept their defeat. Instead, they kept fighting and struggling for independence. The first call for independence came in Philadelphia in June 1776, followed by the other cities and states. The Declaration of Independence could not pass for years because the British government was not ready to accept it. So, the state representatives, as well as people, kept working hard and finally, the declaration was passed without any opposing vote. Freedom is one of the basic and most significant rights of all humans. Unfortunately, Britain has always tried to dominate the world in one way or the other.
