In any healthcare center, patient safety and quality go side-by-side. It is the responsibility of nurses to provide patients with utmost care, attention, and timely treatment. Hospitals strive for better performance, and unlike doctors, it can be challenging for nurses to maintain their integrity and reputation if they don’t devote themselves fully. Not only the hospital management, but also patients depend on their services, dedication, and hard-work. For any patient, a nurse is far more important than a doctor as she spends most of the time looking after him and giving him medications (Cooke & Ironside, 2011).
