Primary Healthcare Your Name Subject and Section Professor’s Name August 28, 2019 Primary healthcare is important, especially in small and rural communities where there is little to no access to hospitals since primary healthcare facilities are able to provide, attend, and manage the patients’ necessities (Vogenberg & Santili, 2018). It is essential to provide for the needs of every person in a community and to protect every person’s health and integrity through the prevention of the spread of diseases, treatment, rehabilitation, and palliative care. This also covers a broad spectrum, including, but not limited to physical, mental, emotional, and social wellbeing (WHO, 2019). As a future primary healthcare provider, I must improve my patient skills to be able to attend to my patients’ best interest.
