There is a total of twenty-one topics that are highlighted. The topics are adolescent health, asthma, congenital disabilities, cancer, workplace health, etc. All of the topics stressed in the guidelines offer preventive services and information to the community. They highlight the interventions that help to improve the health and prevent diseases in various residential states, business, healthcare organizations, school or community of the individuals. The guidelines are result-based, indicating that prior research had been done and results found are used at the present time to educate the population. For instance, a task force could be given the powers to look at the causes of health defects or any other health related issues among adolescents at school, home or in the community. These may include drug abuse, unsafe sex, and even death. After the research has been done, all the results are made public to the others to have a view of them and put on control measures not to fall into the same trap (Community Preventive Services Task Force, 2014).
All the topics in the guidelines give news and highlights on whatever research finding has been gotten from the research carried out regarding the various topics. In the year 2016, various news and latest publications that had been agreed upon regarding the different health topics. The news is so beneficial to the society that they could help get in enriching the public on the latest developments in the health sector (Community Preventive Services Task Force, 2014).
