Diabetes is one major disease and rapidly growing public health conditions in the globe. It poses as a problem to the public health sector in that it is not only expensive to manage, but is also difficult to treat. The problem poses as threat to the public health sector as well as the general economy at large. It has effect on nursing because once diabetes becomes complicated; the patients may get confused and lose consciousness (Burden, 2003). More education is needed on how to handle patients with diabetes. This paper seeks to explicate the prevention of diabetes with medication and diet.
