Nurses, in reality, have a professional and ethical duty to participate in policies that affect their ill clients. Nurses essentially lobby for their clients when changing politics to better healthcare delivery. Regrettably, nurses seem to have minimum say in legislation decisions that influence healthcare delivery (Ramsey, 2020).
