1 Does your study include deception?
No. The study will utilize a questionnaire for a survey where the participant will be asked to answer as honestly as possible. Also, there will be no deception on the researchers’ part because there will be no blinding of any type.
2 What are the expected risks and benefits of participating in this study? What steps will you take to minimize risks?
The questionnaire formulated by the researchers has a risk of in the participant’s mental and emotional health, knowledge, and employment. The questionnaire may trigger negative emotions in the participants because principally tackles a mother’s personal life during the post-partum period, which is when the hormones of the mother are fluctuating indefinitely. Due to this, the participants may have a negative perception of pregnancy in the future.
Consequently, the questionnaire asks concerning the negative aspects of workload in the participant’s job setting and her work at home. This may trigger events that lead to the loss of the participant’s passion for both settings.
