Nursing Theorists
The Nursing Theory is a term used to refer to a set of definitions, concepts, relationships, propositions and assumptions relating to nursing practice (Parker & Smith, 2010). There is a body of knowledge developed by different nurses concerning their experience during practice. However, the three prominent ones that include Environment theory, interpersonal theory, and self-care theory will be discussed in this paper.
Environment Theory
Martha Rogers that asserts that caregivers seek to promote interaction between the person, and the environment (Alligood, 2013) developed this concept. The aim is to strengthen the integrity and coherence of human beings or to direct and redirect the ways of interaction between the surrounding and the person to realize maximum health.
Interpersonal Theory
