The study is on how emotional experience determines individual’s health. Data CollectionThe participants for the study were obtained from the Federal Center for Disease Control by the researcher in the United States. The permission of the patients to participate in the study was granted by the mentioned organization. The process of data collection involved the use of sensing software (Mill, Realo, & Allik, 2016). The patients were asked to place their hands on the emotional sensor and their emotional state was compared to their medical records. AnalysisThe analysis of the collected data was done by compilation of the data into classes of the emotional experience of the patients. The patients were interviewed on their emotional experience by answering some few questions of interest to the study, such as frequency of experiencing domestic violence and other circumstances of emotional concern. The non-parametric variables in the collection of emotional states were the type of disease the patients were suffering from (Mill, Realo, & Allik, 2016). On the other hand, the parametric variables in the study were height, age, the weight of the participants, and race.
Implications
Patients with bad and frustrating emotional experience were found to have severe health complications as compared to those with good emotional experience. From the study, it is necessary for people to be supportive to help others maintain good health status (Mill, Realo,...
