Nursing Process (EBP Process) Within The Scenario

1. Describe a clinical scenario in which you were faced with a patient problem (This should be brief, no more than 100 words). Write the scenario describing how you (or the RN) followed the steps of the nursing process, labeling each step of the nursing process within the scenario. (Could you do the scenario that I am a nurse working with the patient who has a pressure ulcer at the nursing home)
2. List the steps of the EBP process. In the scenario you wrote identify where you could have used the EBP process to better understand what works/ improve your practice.
3. Answer the following questions:
a. Why is it important to ask clinically relevant questions in nursing practice?
b. What is the purpose of asking/formulating a question in a particular format?
c. Develop a PICO question to fit the following issues:
How well a smoking-cessation program works in adults with at least a 20-year pack a day history of smoking.
The impact of various dressings for IV catheters on phlebitis.
The answers to the questions may be brief, but should be answered with insight and reflection. The rules of spelling and grammar should apply, but you do not need to use APA formatting for this assignment.
