The cultural and spiritual aspects of religious beliefs of the Hindu patient are taken into consideration in nursing as they influence health care seeking behaviors. There is diversity in the practices and beliefs of the Hindus but they all understand that life and death are natural. It is necessary to evaluate their beliefs on meditation as way to health and how the vegetarian lifestyle influences their life choices.
