Nursing informatics is the discipline that links nursing, informatics and information technology, which support patient care and decision-making among the health practitioners. The SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) facilitates the development of information systems to meet the user requirements. The project manager or leader needs to manage the tasks effectively and provide a schedule of key objectives.
Planning entails defining the systems to be designed then determining the scope of the entire process as well as defining the limits on different aspects such as the human resources, materials, budget and time for the tasks.
