FYI: For point 2 on part II question where it says : "Point out people and events in your Grand Canyon experience that had the most positive influence on you. Explain one or two of them."
You can use this wonderful instructor Miss Luci Hanus who taught "Professional Capstone Project". She was a knowledgeable, wonderful, great teacher who mastered the subject she was teaching. She was tough but with her I gain a lot of knowledge. I did cry when she be calling me and returned the assignments but she was great.

As a registered nurse, the volunteer experience was one that built on my skills and further helped open my mind to the various aspects of society that I did not have before (Heacock, 2012). Much of the items that were covered during the volunteer period were quite significant to my career and education background, which all impact positively on practice skills and knowledge as a nurse.
Relative to the items that were discussed on the aspects of nutrition and the best practices of healthy diets there are some very crucial elements that standout. At the heart of healthy living is the ability to take the right foods. This means that unlike common practice where people take foods relative to their cravings, it is crucial to observe the basic balanced diet rules. More often than not, due to the element of a busy life, people tend to eat relative to their convenience and they do not take time to nourish their bodies. As such, most people will take a lot of processed foods which are easy to eat and give them the satisfaction of not being hungry and give them the perceived sense of energy. This is an aspect that draws directly from the educational material covered in class. Dietary needs are crucial for the purposes of maintaining a healthy body and mind (Heacock, 2012). This means that the right portions of the balanced diet have to be taken on a daily basis and very minimal of the processed foods portions. The diet, not only provides the energy, but also boosts the immune system and helps the body to repair damaged tissues alongside growth and development. In the case of the children, parents play a major role in what their children eat and whether it is healthy. Offering children balanced diets other than processed foods is going to play a major in the child’s life now and most definitely in the future. As such, poor feeding habits encouraged by the parents could easily ruin a child’s life when they are adults. This is a common aspect that is reflected in the education material, where parents are encouraged to give their children balanced diet and not what they crave or ask for (Wirkus, 2015).
