MPH503 Infertility Provider Education Program Workshops for Primary Care Providers

For your Session Long Project, choose one of the following two options:
Option #2 - Provider Education Program
Develop a two-hour infertility education workshop for primary care providers. The goal of this educational seminar will be to enhance the capacity of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, or other primary care providers to meet the needs of the growing number of individuals who face challenges with regard to fertility.
Option Two Task:
What information will be provided to workshop participants? Why is this information most crucial?
In what format (i.e., medium, time frame, etc.) will this material be presented? Be sure to consult the literature before responding to this question as peer-reviewed research has been undertaken on the topic of CME/CEU education; evaluation studies have particular relevance in this regard. Many of these are published in The Journal of Continuing Education in Health Professions, which can be accessed via EBSCO Web. SLP Assignment Expectations
For this assignment, you are to write a paper in which you respond to one of the aforementioned prompts. You are expected to consult and cite the relevant peer-reviewed literature on cost-benefit analysis and infertility treatment (Option #1) OR continuing medical education formats and their relative effectiveness (Option #2).
LENGTH: 2-3 pages typed and double-spaced for Option #1 and Option #2
The following items will be assessed in particular:
1 PRECISION: Each of the questions of the assignment is specifically addressed in the paper.
2 CLARITY: The paper reads clearly (i.e., it is not confusing) and is well-structured.
3 BREADTH: The paper presents appropriate breadth covering the questions of the assignment.
4 DEPTH: The paper presents points that lead to a deeper understanding of the matters and/or issues being discussed and integrates several points into coherent conclusions.
5 APPLICATION: Your assignment reflects an application of concepts and principles covered in this course to policies governing infertility treatment or to clinical practice.
Keep in mind that "A" papers are truly exceptional works that go beyond simply answering the questions.
