Micronutrients and Macronutrients
Nutrients are majorly divided into micro and macro with their difference basing on the quantity needed in the body. Macronutrients are needed by the body in larger quantities, and they are noted for affecting the most activities such as metabolic system, fat composition, and cells make up, majorly categorized into fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. On the other hand, micronutrients categorized in the form of vitamins, phytochemicals, minerals, and antioxidants are vital in good health for body functioning, and the body requires them in small quantities. Ideally, there is a noted difference between micronutrients and macronutrients, in line with their importance when the body is either resting or during exercise.
