The authors of this article explored the effectiveness of using 4AT in screening older patients for delirium. This is a new screening tool for delirium. From the findings, the researchers noted that 4AT is a valid and effective tool that can be used to screen delirium in elderly people. The tool outperformed the other numerous screening tools because they lack some of the important features such as non-specialist care. To test its effectiveness, the method was administered in various patients where it reported high sensitivity and specificity levels. The study concludes by suggesting the 4AT derilium screening tool is valid and should be used in all wards. Since the study was conducted in one health care center, the authors suggest that, further studies in large centers and populations are required to assess the performance of this new tool.

They provide a definition of sarcopenia as the "loss of skeletal mass and strength that occurs with advancing age." The study provides the effects of sarcopenia on the aging people. These effects include falls, prolonged hospital stay and readmission, and even death. The study notes that exercise interventions play a vital role in increasing muscle strength as well as improves the physical performance of. However, they state that this type of intervention does not increase muscle mass in individuals.
The authors did not establish any evidence supporting the role of nutrition intervention in treating sarcopenia. The authors conclude by giving recommendations on what should be done in implementing these interventions.
