It is always the goal and dream of every medical personnel to deliver the best possible services to their patient. Defining the quality of a product is a little bit simpler since the physical attributes, and its value can be easily tested. This is not the same case for defining the quality of healthcare since it a service. Defining the quality of healthcare is a little different since it is a service that is being provided. In this case, there are many things to look at for one to rate the quality of healthcare being offered. Quality healthcare is not like any other term in other fields, such as business. The market in healthcare has shifted towards from quantity of healthcare towards quality. This is due to the need for healing success other safety measures in medical care. Therefore, what does quality healthcare mean?
Quality healthcare is a holistic process that encompasses a lot of aspects. From the service provision to the patients, and their management, to the policies formulated thereabout that concern the working conditions of the caregivers. As a result, it is quite broad. As a result, it also involves a number of stakeholders. Much of the parameters used in the assessment of quality in healthcare entail the speed of recoveries of the patients, as well as their experience during the recovery process. To a greater extent however, the parameters encompass the structures that enable these conditions to exist.
