Aging is part of living that is a must for everyone who has got a life. It has been noted that with the advancement of age, one experiences difficulties in doing his/her daily chores. In this case, long-term care comes into play to ensure that the old and elderly get the necessary help when they get to that point of need. Long-term care uses activities of daily living scales as well as instrumental activities of daily living to measure physical functions. Consequently, there are two measures of physical functions that are of importance in long-term care.
