Practice your lesson plan with a group of two or three friends, peers, or family members acting as students. This lesson plan will need to be presented in your practicum setting prior to Topic 13. 1 What went well in your lesson delivery?
There are several areas where I think I excelled during this event. These areas are mainly due to commendable logical thinking that I have gotten through asking people with a various amount of experience regarding this matter and through reading suggestions and watching how-to and teaching demonstration videos.
I have invited three of my family members to become my audience. We have followed the schedule and started the introduction to the earliest possible time without delays. Starting the program as soon as possible is one of the most significant areas in conducting a lesson since it will dictate the time needed for following the step-by-step process in delivering the experience. This allowed me to speak with the proper speed, thereby allowing the audience to indulge more in the discussion and to understand the lesson better. Also, excellent time management skills allowed me to finish on time, thereby denying the audience’s boredom.
Additionally, I also learned from the demonstration videos on how to apply subtle brain teasers and ice breakers during the discussion to loosen up the mood of the audience. This allowed them to engage better in the debate since students, even family members, listen better when the lecturer is modest.
