The experience this year was instrumental in enhancing my practice. In particular, the response to the pandemic stands out for me. I learned how to take care of more patients who are critical. Before the pandemic, the flow of patients would be moderate. However, the pandemic increased the number of patients coming to the facility because of COVID-related complications. Because of the high volume of patients, I took on extra responsibilities where I would engage family members about the progress of patients.
