Write an informal presentation to educate nurses about how the practice of nursing is expected to grow and change. Include the concepts of continuity or continuum of care, accountable care organizations (ACO), medical homes, and nurse-managed health clinics. 
Share your presentation with nurse colleagues on your unit or department and ask them to offer their impressions of the anticipated changes to health care delivery and the new role of nurses in hospital settings, communities, clinics, and medical homes.

Ladies and gentlemen good morning?, I would like to welcome you all to this present day presentation where I am going to talk about the practice of nursing and how it is expected to grow and change. I won't take much of your time I promise to be as brief as possible. I was chosen to talk about this topic because I have done a lot of research in the field of nursing and the organizers of this event felt that my knowledge in this area would provide you with the opportunity to appreciate that the sector has improved over time, and we are expecting more in future. I would like to inform you that all nurses have an important role to play in the health sector that includes: decision making, planning and the development of health policies. Ideally, nurses are professionally trained patient care experts; patient’s advocates you might call them plus they focus on community care, and this has placed them in a good position to contribute and shape the health policy that which on equality and cost-effective care (Lathrop, 2013)
My dear friend, the Nursing sector, is growing very fast. Some of the reasons for this exponential growth are due to the immutable fact that most countries in the world are recording a shortage in the number of nurses taking care of their population. This norm has had impacts on the quality, accessibility, and safety of health services. Another reason is the world has recorded an increased number of high rates of HIV/AIDs and other diseases. Millennium development goals targeted at 2015 have played an influential force in sustaining political support for health expansion because of the clarity of the objectives and reckon-able targets (Hunter, 1994).
According to the USA labor statistics, industrial experts have claimed that employment in nursing is expected to grow to at least 18% by 2018 (Mopkins at el, 2011). With high child birth rates in most parts in the world, the continuum care has increased with nurses being called upon to take responsibilities. These responsibilities include: delivery of children, offering immediate postnatal care and this has significantly changed nursing by increasing its role and duties, it also recognizes that safe child delivery is critical to the health of both the woman and the newborn. This norm is a definite reason as to why we should believe that nursing is going through tremendous growth. Accountable care organization is a group of various health providers. ACO is answerable to the patients and those who pay bills in regards to the appropriateness, quality, and effectiveness of the health care provided. This field is also likely to improve with an increase in the medical homes that are a common principle in which comprehensive primary health care is given to children, adults and youths. Medical home provision is intended to increase patient satisfaction with health care, ensure better accessibility to health services and improve the health of the population. Nurse-managed health clinics also provide an opportunity for nursing as a field to grow because they provide essential health services, promote health in the community and carry out disease control and prevention measure to individuals with limited access regardless of the ability of patients to pay for the services. 
With all this in mind, we can see that the future nursing looks great because we are sure that employment rates are going up, and we should be prepared to be part of the changes that are coming shortly.
