Bipolar disorder is a mental illness that associates with suicidal thoughts, suicide attempts as well as death by suicide. To prevent these suicides, it is important to understand the challenges of diagnosing it and accepts the day to day struggles of people living with bipolar. Therefore, comprehending the bipolar-suicide like is significant. Thus, the paper will present bipolar disorder, its impact, and treatment.
According to Johnson, Carver & Tharp, (2017), the condition is at least 20 times high in prevalence against the whole population. Also, there exists a 20% lifetime risk of suicide in people with this condition and this risk grows with certain risk factors.
