Roger's Diffusion of Innovation theory is a particularly good theoretical framework to apply to an EBP project. However, students may also choose to use change models, such as Duck's Change Curve Model or the Transtheoretical Model of Behavioral Change. Other conceptual models presented such as a utilization model (Stetler's model) and EBP models (the Iowa Model and ARCC Model) can also be used as a framework for applying your evidence-based intervention in a health care setting.
In 500-750 words (not including the title page and reference page), apply a change model to the implementation plan.
Apply one of the above models and carry your implementation through each of the stages, phases, or steps identified in the chosen model.
In addition, create a conceptual model of the project. Although you will not be submitting the conceptual model you design in Topic 5 with the narrative, the conceptual model should be placed in the appendices for the final paper.

Urinary tract infections affect any part of the urinary system including urethra, bladder, uterus, and kidneys (Lüthje & Brauner, 2016). Most infections normally happen at the lower urinary tract-urethra and the bladder. Infections at the bladder can be very painful but consequences are serious when these infections spread to the kidney. Currently, doctors use several strategies to treat UTI. The first strategy involves using anti-inflammatory, immunostimulation, and phytitherapeutics. Nitrofurantoin, pivmecillinam and fosfomycin have been widely used in antibiotic treatment of  “uncomplicated cystitis” (Rowe, & Juthani-Mehta, 2014). However, there is still need to new antibiotics that can be used to treat complicated UTI.
Stetler model can be used in the implementation evidence based intervention to effect changes in the treatment of urinary tract infection. The model can help in developing health messages for dealing with urinary tract infection. Specifically, Stetler model is used by practitioners to relevant evidence and research findings can be applied in practice (Stetler, 2001). The model focuses on how evidence can be used to create changes formally within organizations. Additionally, it determines how each practitioner can use research as part of their reflective practice and critical thinking on an informal basis.
The model comprises of five phases. The first phase is preparation where the purpose for consulting evidence is identified. In this phase the important factors that can influence the implementation of evidence based findings on urinary tract infection are recognized.
