Based in Arizona, this organization has been around since 1999 and currently operates over 26 specialized facilities and hospitals all across the United States. As of December 2017, more than 45,000 doctors, nurses and other staff work for Banner Health. Just like other similar non-profit healthcare organizations, Banner Health ensures the provision of outpatient surgery, home care services, primary and hospital care, pharmacy, rehabilitation services and others (Kuhn & Lehn, 2015).
