Motivating employees is indeed a big challenge; however, by using strategies such as promotions and wage raises, managers have managed to keep their workforce inspired. Unlike a workforce that is close and is easily reachable, dispersed team members present the directors with newer and tougher challenges. Inspiring or motivating such a group is an experience that often calls for patience as well as great managerial skills. Below are some effective strategies that can be used to motivate dispersed team members in a virtual setting.
* According to Ferrazi (2014), fostering trust among the members is one way that can help to get members committed and motivated. A virtual leader needs to invest their time in trust building and create an honest and trusting environment.
