The high cost of healthcare in the United States of America has been of immense concern. Recently, The Economist reported a presidential intervention on the healthcare pricing systems to encourage transparency from healthcare institutions and insurance companies. According to the Magazine, President Donald Trump, on 24th June 2019, signed an executive order that compels the management of hospitals to make known the negotiated medical prices. These are prices they have agreed on with the health insurance firms. This executive health policy is meant to reduce high-profit margins made by the hospitals. It additionally ensures that they offer their clients affordable, quality, and efficient healthcare services. The program will also stimulate competition among healthcare providers. 
Some of the government critics and industry players are already opposing the policy as they perceive it to be political, reactive, and not sustainable.
