Introduction
The United States (U.S.) health care system is not uniform. It is a combination of public and private, for-profit and nonprofit insurers, and health care providers (Barr, 2016). The U.S. does not have universal health coverage. This essay aims to look at the U.S. health care system and the effectiveness of delivery on quality patient care and health outcomes. It will also look at the reforms brought to improve effectiveness in delivery and their effects.
Delivery is one method of the U.S. health care system. Reforming the U.S. health care delivery system will effectively improve the quality of patient care and health outcomes. Reforms are meant to improve access to appropriate care at the desired time and setting (Mohammed et al., 2016).
