1. What did you learn from this activity?
By conducting the activity, I learned how to conduct a HEENT assessment of using different techniques such as inspection, palpation, percussion, and auscultation. Particularly, I learned the proper techniques and tools to conduct such assessment. I also learned that while each of these techniques is important, complementing them with one another would give a more thorough assessment of the patient.
2. What aspects of the history and physical exam for HEENT and Respiratory systems do you implement in your current clinical practice?
As of this writing, I usually implement a lot of these assessment methods when assessing the patient’s condition.
