Informed consent is indeed a critical part of any research. It protects all of the stakeholders involved by informing every one of the possible benefits and risks associated with the research and setting limits based on the agreement CITATION LoB15 \l 1033 (Lo, 2015). Accordingly, one of the things that I like most with your response is the completeness and conciseness of both your description and example of informed consent. You were able to fully make the client informed of both the present understandings of the drug as well as its future implications to him (as a subject) and to the field of medicine in general.
