The unknown disease can be described epidemiologically, which means describing the disease according to place, persons and time. In light of describing the disease in terms of persons, according to figure 1, the most affected part of the population by age is 9 and 50-54; with men predominantly showing higher signs of infection compared to women of the same age. The least affected ages are between 20-24 and age 85 years. Across the ages assessed the disease shows significant evidence of affecting more men that it does to women of the same ages (Naito, 2014). The only ages where women are seen to be affected by the disease more than their male counterparts of the same are between ages 30 to 39 years. The infection patterns between the genders can be explained by genetic disposition of the males as compared to the female genes (Patten, Wang, Williams, Currie & al, e2006).
Across the United States, when the disease is considered according to the geographical representation there are some interesting facts. There are some specific areas where the disease has been seen to be concentrated, while the rest of the areas are free of the disease.
