See the example paper-
You will need to critically evaluate your profile based on your input and the input of 4 observers of your choice. (see the attached report from myself and 4 observers from my team) - I am a medical officer, while 4 observers are my team manager, and 2 doctors and 1 nurse.
By critically evaluate we mean see if the profile contributes to reality. Consider why your observers scored you in a certain way and reflect on your strengths and weaknesses (when did your skills work with you or against you when working in a team – you can give brief examples - explames from working in medical team).
You may wish to consider reflecting on 2 strong roles and 2 weak roles for example and consider how they contributed (or not) to team working whilst linking it with current literature. You can also think of how your leadership attributes apply to public health leadership. **Refer to the belbin report too!
For this assignment you have to complete:
1. Personal Belbin Profile (done and attached) - you can see from the example- copy and quote some useful data from the belbin report for your reflection
2. A critical evaluation of your personal profile in relation to your contribution to team working and application of these skills to public health leadership
The word limit is 1000 words exclusive of the reference list and appendices. - make sure references are needed. and refer to the report for all the reflection. the case / the examples use for reflection can be make it up by yourself but must be based on working environment in hospital with teams.

Introduction
Team members in a group are often guided by the personality stereotypes. Individuality helps in accomplishing the work by honing one’s aptitude and skills. However, this also posed a risk of promoting fragmented responsibilities and fragmented communication (Belbin, 2012).
To have a better understanding of individual roles, we are required to complete the Belbin Team Report. I asked a total of four observers: my team manager, two other doctors, and a nurse. The report reflects the perspectives of individual group members.

Observers’ Perspective
The graph shows how the team members and I perceive my leadership in the group. Currently, I work as a medical officer in a local government setting.
As you can see, the majority of team members perceive my role as an implementer and team worker. My practice requires excellent communication and coordination skills to help the public health officers devise programs that will aid the communities to alleviate their health situation. The most significant role is to develop a health plan based on a community health investigation (Rechel, 2018).
Implementers are hard workers who promote a systematic approach without compromising efficiency. This makes one inflexible to situations (Belbin, 2012). My colleagues considered me as an implementer which aligns with my work for it requires great leadership to execute a variety of public health programs. However, the downside on this is that physicians should be flexible especially in unexpected situations like medical emergencies or public health crises.
Others also considered me as a team worker. As mentioned by Karabeleski & Avdic (2018), this individual team player, which specifies that I have cooperative and listening skills. Moreover, the individual is most likely amiable and tends to avoid conflicts to prevent aversions in the workplace. The medical team is multidisciplinary and to have an outstanding result, the members must practice a give-and-take method where they express their perspectives on a medical case and listen to the perspectives of the others. By doing this, every member shall be treated equally and no one will hold autonomy. This shall give a better room for alternative solutions for a specific problem.
Often, my role as a medical officer allows me to encourage team members to achieve a common goal. This requires a single-minded intervention and resolve to execute a project cleanly and smoothly. My contribution is to aid all the members in executing the project, bring and keep them together, and to project objectives that can be evaluated. Hence, this role will guide me in achieving the primary objectives of the team.
