I believe the mentioned research areas are the hottest in the field of nutrition for a number of reasons. To begin with, the Global Food Security research is essential in nutrition since it’s greatly influenced by climate change and clean water access. Microbiome/Microflora is a hot reach in nutrition because it will help scientist identify how microorganism regulation can promote prevention of diseases. Gene Expression research on the other hand will help in examining how gene expression nutritional programming impact progression and disease expression. Through the research, scientist will be able to know how disease manifestation can be changed by nutrition. Through Energy metabolism reach, scientist will be able to find obesity problem solutions. Cancer research in nutrition is also hot topic since through the research medical professionals will be able to know how natural products can increase radiation and chemotherapy effectiveness (Andrew, & Sonia ,2014).. Inflammation research in nutrition will be very essential since it will help in moderating inflammation and maybe even help in minimizing cancer risks among other conditions. The aging research will help in ensuring that aging people continue enjoying healthy lifestyle. Bioengineering research will help people access technologies that will help them monitor and follow their health and nutritional status. With the nutritional educational research, people will be provided with education that will motivate behavioral change and enhance their general health. Lastly, Interdisciplinary and Cross-discipline Collaborations research will help in getting answers to the critical health problems bring a holistic and better approach to sustainable and successful solutions in nutrition (JACN, 2014). Other topics that I would like to be included are controlling the worldwide obesity epidemic and standards of child growth.
