Coordinating a Health Fair
A health fair is a good method to create awareness in our school about how to improve our health and start and sustain a healthy lifestyle in school and beyond. My health promotion needs are pegged on the need to change and evolve our characters, habits, and lifestyles to reflect healthy lifestyles. The health promotion discussed in this health fair is based the recent cases handled by the nursing professionals this school. Some of our health issues are preventable and manageable and therefore proper education and information pertaining these pertinent issues can help to stamp them out. The statistics and the trends I have observed while serving you as a nurse has prompted me to act and inform the school fraternity how to live healthily. In our health fair, our promotion needs are centered on healthy eating, physical activity and health services. To avoid our community from getting wrong and unverified information about our health, our health fair would grant a chance to anyone with a question and we shall duly inform him/her about it.
The event would be organized in the conference hall on the last Friday next month. The hall has been booked for the health fair purpose. The hall should be arranged, and all entertainment and public address systems should be installed at least a day before the event. We will also have short seminars held in our respective classes organized through our health fair committee to discuss some pertinent health issues common to each grade level. In each grade level, a leader would show up and engage the class in a healthy health discussion of their choice for an hour.
