It is prudent for any research team to seek the permission of the people who have been identified to take part in the research (Stauch, 2013). In this case, the research to be conducted is on the effectiveness of an experimental drug that will be used for patients suffering from leukemia. The proposed sample population is children who have late-stage leukemia and they will be divided into two groups. One of the groups will form the control group while the other would form the experimental group.
