There are varied factors that contribute to disease vulnerability amongst American populations. For example, cancer does not affect ethnic groups; in the same way, Asian people are prone to cancer than Hispanic populations. Notably, the Asian American community has more liver and stomach cancer cases compared to the Hispanic population. Most ethnic groups are faced with various health issues in America (Rogel Cancer Center, 2019). The Asian American people do not have access to cancer screening services as compared to Latino people. Generally, discrimination is the primary cause of escalated cases in Asian people; most do not get the required health services. People’s origin contributes extensively to the type of diseases they are likely to acquire. For instance, people from Pacific areas, such as Asians, have a high chance of getting liver cancer than other areas.
