Cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure can be described as a condition in which the heart becomes stretched and weakened and is not capable of supplying enough blood to other body organs which need it to function properly. Heart failure fully develops as the heart muscle continues to grow weak. People often confuse the two terms cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure, but in reality, they just mean the same thing. Cardiomyopathy is a heart condition that affects the muscles of the heart, and a heart condition develops after the disease has completely weakened the muscles (Butler, 2011).
Patients with heart failures around the world need special care from multiple specialties for instance electrophysiologists who specialize in arrhythmia, cardiothoracic surgeons, and cardiologists who specialize in patients with heart failure. As stated in the exempt the patient (Mr.P) has been diagnosed with chronic heart failure (CHF). This is a serious condition that needs the cardiologists. As stated he has been feeling worthless and is wondering why God has not yet taken him. The patient needs different specialties attached to him one to check on his medication and the other to provide guidance and advice to the patient. The approaches that I would use for caring for the patient are cardiothoracic surgeons and cardiologists. The doctors would come in handy in case the patient needs to be operated upon, and the cardiologists would attend to the other needs of the patient, for instance, directing them on time to take their medication.
In some cases, the illness comes and disappears, but other Individuals who suffer from cardiomyopathy have to seek treatment.
