Health educators are obligated to do their part in striving toward the achievement of Healthy People 2020 objectives. Today, public health educators offer services in a wide range of settings, which are beyond the traditional graduate public health education. Healthy People 2020 has provided an opportunity to rethink on the role that public health ad prevention education can play in educating the public and the future professionals in clinical care (Riegelman, 2010). The Healthy People 2020 has Education for Health framework that seeks to support the objects of its proposal, including the achievement of health literacy among students, which is hindered by a lack of continuity in health education initiatives across different age groups.
