Ethics is an important dimension in every professional field. Ethics in health care is a crucial aspect which when applied in the right manner can lead to success in health care provision where, otherwise there would have been failure. Statement of professional ethics in healthcare implies ones sense of what is acceptable and what is not in moral perspective. Although different cultures have different perspectives of what is ethical and what is not, professions will often tent to have similar focal point in ethical matters. This paper analyses personal ethics statement in health care profession and the story behind this ethical perspective. In so doing, there has been consideration of past experiences and future expectations.

‘To attend to patient needs in a manner that signifies respect to human dignity’
This is based on the encounter of varied experiences in health care practice that highlighted some aspects that do not point to respect of human dignity. Brown & McGee (2014) note that; ones ethical dimension calls for one to think about it always and mainly whenever he is faced with a situation in which decision making require to be based on moral alignment. Most of the decisions made in health care will always have ethical dimension and if not carefully made, one will live with a disturbed conscience.
