Abortion is an issue that has attracted strong and opposing views. Many people believe that abortion is a human right, and women must be offered the opportunity to choose what to do with their bodies. On the other hand, others believe that abortion is equal to murder because it kills a living being. Since life begins at conception, there is a need to protect the rights of the unborn child. The women do not have the liberty to choose whether the child should live or die. Abortion is one of the issues that has strong supporters and opposers. The constitution provides the right to abort before a particular stage of the pregnancy. However, many people still believe that this right must never be granted at all (Nash, 2019).
In the ProLife category, the advocates argue that the fetus deserves to be protected and enjoy fundamental human rights, including the right to life. On the other hand, Pro-choice believe that a woman has the power to choose whether to abort or not. In this case, abortion is treated as a reproductive health issue.
