Perhaps one of the most debated issues in the practice of nursing is that between Holistic and Allopathic healing. On one hand, allopathic healing refers to “traditional western medicine” that usually uses “drugs and/or surgery in order to treat bacteria” CITATION Kud13 \l 1033 (Kudzma & Brunton, 2013). However, while this approach utilizes methods from established scientific findings in order to cure a disease, plenty of patients feel that it lacks a personalized level of care that values them as human beings.
